Some insights into the Pinstripes 😉
Hey Everyone! Back again with another Pinstripe blog post 😊 This time I would like to highlight the gaff cards included in the Pinstripe deck.
The gaff card is used as a gimmick, a way to draw a surprise from your spectator or to deliver an unexpected sight through sleight of hand techniques.
One of the classic examples of a gaff card is the 3½ of Clubs from Bicycle. Usually two of these cards are used in a trick, where the magician takes a normal 7 of Clubs and seemingly splits it into two cards with the flick of a wrist. The two cards revealed at the end are 3½'s 😅
Pinstripe Playing Cards are ahead of the pack with these fully custom Gaff cards! There is a semi-duplicate Five of Spades and and a very special King of Diamonds!
The Five of Spades is a combination of the standard pinstripe 5 plus the back design. offers a variety of sleight of hand tricks.
Change the horizontal stripes to vertical in front of your spectators eyes!
Or perhaps you want to melt the back design through to the front of the card?
Enjoying a some down-time with a game of cards? You can also use this one as a wild card 😉
The gaff Kind of Diamonds is my favorite! The Pinstripe court cards don't have any faces due to the minimal striped design. That doesn't mean the King can't have any fun 😅
This makes for clever card reveal! Someone asks why there isn't any face cards? Let them see that they are behind the scenes!
In fortune telling, the King of Diamonds is mostly used to predict wealth, prosperity, and respect. However, he can also be described as fearsome, deceitful, and quick to anger. Check him out as he glares through the blinds!
I really hope you enjoyed reading this blog about the Pinstripe Gaff cards. Let me know what you think of them!
